Responsibilities:

Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines to collect, process, and store large volumes of data from various sources
Develop and optimize ETL processes to transform raw data into usable formats for analysis and reporting
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and implement solutions that meet business needs
Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines to ensure data quality, reliability, and performance
Stay current with industry trends and best practices in data engineering, and proactively recommend improvements to our data infrastructure and processes

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
years of experience in data engineering or a similar role
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala
Strong experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka
Solid understanding of database concepts and SQL
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
Familiarity with machine learning and data science concepts
Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools
