Edify Studio is seeking an experienced Lead Architect & Interior Designer to oversee and drive the successful completion of architectural and interior design projects. The ideal candidate leads a team of five professionals and manages all stages of project development from conceptualization through to execution. This role requires strong expertise in space planning, material specification, and construction documentation, paired with excellent client communication skills to ensure alignment with client visions and expectations. The candidate will coordinate with stakeholders and guide the team to deliver creative and functional design solutions that meet budget and timeline requirements. The Lead Architect & Interior Designer plays a pivotal role in project management, utilizing tools like Microsoft Project for effective scheduling and resource allocation. They are responsible for producing detailed design documentation, conducting 3D visualizations for client presentations, and ensuring quality standards are maintained throughout the design and construction phases. Leadership skills are essential for mentoring the team, fostering collaboration, and driving continuous improvement within the design process.
Responsibilities

Lead and manage a team of five architects and designers to deliver comprehensive architectural and interior design projects.
Develop and implement project plans including scopes, schedules, and budgets using project management tools such as Microsoft Project.
Collaborate closely with clients to understand their design requirements and provide regular updates and presentations to ensure client satisfaction.
Create detailed space planning layouts that optimize functionality and aesthetics in alignment with client goals and regulatory standards.
Prepare and review construction documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry codes and specifications.
Produce high-quality 3D visualizations and renderings to support design proposals and enhance client communication.
Select appropriate materials and finishes considering project requirements, sustainability, and budget constraints.
Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and consultants to ensure seamless execution of design intent and timely project delivery.
Monitor project progress and address any issues proactively to maintain deadlines and quality standards.
Mentor and guide team members to foster professional growth and ensure consistency in work quality.
Stay updated on industry trends, innovative design techniques, and emerging technologies to incorporate best practices into projects.
