Eila Solutions is seeking motivated and detail-oriented Senior Accountants to join their Finance team in Karachi. The Senior Accountant plays a crucial role in maintaining precise financial records and managing day-to-day accounting functions. This position supports tax compliance efforts and assists in the preparation of financial reports and reconciliations. The role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, accuracy, and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
The Senior Accountant will work from either the Clifton Head Office or Port Qasim Office, managing routine bookkeeping, journal entries, ledger maintenance, and account reconciliations. This position demands professionalism in communication, organization, and documentation to ensure smooth audit and compliance activities. Candidates holding ACCA, CA, or CMA qualifications, with at least two years of relevant experience, will find this role rewarding and challenging in the dynamic finance department at Eila Solutions.
Responsibilities
Maintain accurate financial records in accordance with applicable accounting standards and company policies.
Handle daily bookkeeping tasks, prepare journal entries, and maintain ledgers and account reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy.
Prepare and maintain professional communication, including email correspondence with internal stakeholders and external parties such as tax authorities.
Assist with income tax and sales tax compliance by preparing necessary documentation and supporting related activities.
Support the preparation of routine financial reports and management information for decision-making processes.
Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping to facilitate audits and maintain compliance with financial regulations.
Collaborate with the Finance team to address other accounting and reporting requirements as needed.
Continuously review financial processes to improve accuracy and efficiency in accounting functions.
Provide assistance in resolving discrepancies in financial records and reporting inconsistencies.
Maintain confidentiality and integrity of all financial information handled in the role.
