Electrical Billing Officer

The Electrical Billing Officer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Sarai Alamgir. The primary responsibility is to prepare, review, and process electrical billing and invoicing for residential and commercial units across BSM Developers’ projects. This includes verifying meter readings, consumption data, and tariff structures to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and applicable regulations. The officer will work closely with engineering, finance, and customer service teams to resolve billing discrepancies, address customer queries, and support internal reporting requirements. Maintaining accurate records in billing systems, preparing periodic management summaries, and assisting in process improvements within the billing function are also key aspects of this role.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and process electrical billing and invoicing for residential and commercial units.
- Verify meter readings, consumption data, and tariff structures to ensure billing accuracy and regulatory compliance.
- Coordinate with engineering, finance, and customer service teams to resolve billing discrepancies and respond to customer inquiries.
- Maintain up-to-date records in billing systems and generate periodic billing summaries for management.
- Support process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of the billing function.

Required Qualifications
- Strong skills in billing processes, invoicing, and billing systems; experience with utility or electrical billing is preferred.
- Solid analytical abilities and a good understanding of finance to interpret consumption data, identify variances, and support accurate financial reporting.
- Relevant educational background such as a diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, Electrical Technology, or a related field.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and billing software, with a keen attention to detail and strong numerical accuracy.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively on-site.
- Customer-focused approach to resolving billing issues efficiently and professionally.
