The ideal candidate will support the efficient management of inventory and materials, ensuring accuracy in stock levels and compliance with safety standards. This position requires hands-on expertise in inventory control, data management, and logistical coordination without direct responsibility for managing a team. The role demands strong organizational skills, proficiency with warehouse management systems, and the ability to maintain systematic records and well-organized warehouse aisles. The Warehouse Officer plays a critical role in the supply chain by maintaining seamless operations related to shipping, receiving, and stock replenishment. The candidate must have a background in commerce or supply chain with at least three years of relevant industrial or manufacturing experience. Familiarity with ERP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel skills are essential for data tracking and reporting. This position demands a proactive approach to safety compliance and material handling, contributing to the overall efficiency and reliability of warehouse logistics.
Responsibilities

Manage daily warehouse activities including receiving, storing, and shipping of materials efficiently and accurately.
Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular stock counts to ensure data integrity in inventory control systems.
Utilize warehouse management systems and ERP software to track materials and monitor stock levels.
Coordinate logistics activities to streamline shipment schedules and minimize delays.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
Oversee material handling procedures to prevent damage and optimize storage space utilization.
Perform data entry and generate reports on inventory status using Microsoft Excel and other data management software.
Organize warehouse aisles and storage areas to facilitate easy retrieval and storage of goods.
Assist in stock replenishment planning to maintain adequate inventory levels in line with production and demand.
Collaborate with procurement and production teams to address inventory discrepancies and resolve logistical challenges.
