Audit Executive

Eminent Holdings is seeking a detail-oriented Audit Executive to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will possess foundational knowledge in auditing and accounting principles and demonstrate strong analytical skills. This role is suited for both fresh graduates and candidates with up to one year of experience. The Audit Executive plays a critical role in supporting audit planning, risk assessment, fraud detection initiatives, and financial reporting processes to ensure compliance and accuracy within the organization's financial practices. Proficiency in MS Excel, audit software, and data analysis tools will be essential to execute daily audit tasks effectively. Precise attention to detail, confidentiality, and a commitment to continuous learning are vital attributes for success in this position. The Audit Executive collaborates closely with stakeholders to prepare and present clear audit reports, contributing to the identification and mitigation of financial and operational risks. This person is responsible for analyzing data sets to detect inconsistencies and potential fraud, applying frameworks such as ISO 31000 and COSO for risk management. Working independently without team management responsibilities, the audit executive maintains high standards of accuracy while supporting the organizations internal controls and compliance efforts. Strong communication and teamwork skills enable effective coordination across departments to strengthen audit outcomes and promote transparency.
Responsibilities

Conduct risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities within financial and operational processes using recognized frameworks including ISO 31000 and the COSO framework.
Assist in the development and implementation of comprehensive audit plans and programs to evaluate internal controls and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Perform detailed financial data analysis and interpret audit software outputs to detect anomalies, irregularities, and potential fraud.
Prepare clear and concise audit reports, summarizing findings and recommending corrective actions to management and stakeholders.
Utilize audit analytics and risk assessment software to enhance the thoroughness and efficiency of audit procedures.
Ensure all auditing activities comply with established accounting standards and organizational policies.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of auditing standards, financial regulations, and industry best practices to continuously improve auditing processes.
Support external audits by providing necessary documentation, data, and responses to auditor inquiries.
Develop and maintain accurate documentation and records of audit tests, procedures, and results while safeguarding confidentiality.
Collaborate with finance, accounting, and operational teams to facilitate information exchange and address audit-related queries effectively.
Leverage data analytics techniques and SQL to assist in the examination of complex datasets for fraud detection and risk mitigation.
Demonstrate responsibility and initiative by proactively identifying areas of improvement and learning opportunities within the auditing function.
Utilize MS Excel and MS Office tools proficiently to organize, analyze, and present audit data efficiently.
