Civil Supervisor – Residential Projects

We are looking for an experienced Civil Supervisor to oversee residential construction projects, ensuring quality workmanship, timely execution, and compliance with approved drawings and specifications.

Requirements

Proven site supervision experience in residential houses or villas, covering both grey structure and finishing.
Preferably 5 years of relevant experience.
DAE in Civil Technology preferred; candidates with strong practical experience may also be considered.
Ability to interpret architectural and structural drawings.
Good understanding of construction materials, methods, quality checks, and quantity measurements.
Strong labour management, coordination, and reporting skills.
Ability to plan daily activities and work independently under the project engineer or manager.

Salary: Negotiable based on experience and skills.

Responsibilities

Supervise and manage daily civil construction site activities from excavation through to final finishing and handover stages.
Monitor and control quality workmanship for reinforcement, shuttering, concrete pouring, brickwork, plastering, waterproofing, and flooring tasks.
Read and interpret construction drawings, verifying site measurements, levels, and layout accuracy to ensure compliance with design specifications.
Coordinate labour teams, subcontractors, and material deliveries to maintain adherence to project schedules and minimize delays.
Inspect incoming materials and workmanship regularly, identify defects, and enforce corrective actions promptly to uphold quality assurance standards.
Collaborate effectively with plumbing, electrical, and HVAC teams ensuring civil works are properly integrated with other building services.
Maintain comprehensive daily reports including progress updates, labour attendance, material consumption, and work measurement documentation.
Optimize material usage to minimize wastage and uphold site safety protocols, including housekeeping, hazard identification, and compliance with safety guidelines.
Identify and escalate execution challenges, drawing discrepancies, or proposed design changes to project engineers for resolution.
Prepare and manage snag lists, supervising defect rectification activities prior to project handover to the client.
Plan and organize daily construction activities independently while aligning with directives from project engineers or managers.
