Experienced CPC-Certified Medical Coder

Revex Square LLC is seeking a skilled and experienced CPC-Certified Medical Coder to join their team on a full-time, night shift basis. This role requires hands-on expertise in both inpatient and outpatient medical coding within the US healthcare system. The successful candidate will have a thorough understanding of medical coding guidelines, clinical documentation, and compliance with US healthcare regulations. Responsibilities include reviewing medical records, assigning accurate ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS codes, and ensuring coding accuracy to support clean claims and an efficient revenue cycle. This position is office-based and ideal for a detail-oriented professional ready to work onsite during night hours.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform accurate inpatient and outpatient medical coding based on clinical documentation.
- Review medical records and assign appropriate ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS codes.
- Apply relevant coding guidelines and ensure compliance with US healthcare regulations.
- Identify coding discrepancies, documentation gaps, and potential compliance issues.
- Collaborate closely with medical billing and revenue cycle management teams to support accurate claim submission.
- Maintain coding quality, productivity, and accuracy standards.
- Protect patient information and adhere strictly to HIPAA privacy requirements.

Required Qualifications

- Active CPC (Certified Professional Coder) certification from AAPC.
- Proven experience in US medical coding with practical knowledge of inpatient and outpatient workflows.
- Strong understanding of ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems.
- Familiarity with US insurance payer requirements and medical documentation standards.
- Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective time management.
- Availability to work the night shift on-site at the company’s office location.
