We are seeking a skilled Factory Foreman (Quality Control) to lead and supervise daily production activities at our elevator manufacturing facility in Lahore. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all manufacturing processes meet the company’s stringent quality standards while managing production teams and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. This role requires overseeing factory operations, monitoring quality at every stage of production, and ensuring the timely completion of orders to meet customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily production activities and effectively manage the factory workforce.
- Plan, assign, and monitor tasks to ensure production schedules and deadlines are met.
- Ensure all elevator components and finished products comply with established quality standards.
- Conduct in-process and final quality inspections before product dispatch.
- Identify production defects and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Enforce strict adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), quality standards, and safety regulations.
- Collaborate closely with Production, Engineering, Store, and Installation teams to optimize operations.
- Monitor material usage to reduce waste and improve resource efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records of production, quality control, and daily progress reports.
- Train and mentor production staff to improve efficiency and workmanship quality.
- Ensure proper maintenance and safe operation of machinery, tools, and equipment.
- Oversee attendance, discipline, and overall productivity of factory personnel.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on enhancing quality and production efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or related fields.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Factory Foreman or Production Supervisor, preferably in elevator manufacturing, steel fabrication, stainless steel, or metal manufacturing industries.
- Strong knowledge of elevator manufacturing processes and quality control procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and production specifications.
- Hands-on experience in welding, fabrication, sheet metal work, stainless steel finishing, and assembly.
- Proven leadership skills with strong problem-solving and team management abilities.
- Good understanding of workplace safety standards and quality assurance practices.
- Ability to perform well under pressure and meet tight production deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for reporting and documentation.
Compensation and Work Location
This is a full-time, on-site position based at our factory in Lahore. The monthly salary ranges from Rs50,000 to Rs60,000, reflecting the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
