Human Capital HR Solutions is seeking qualified and dedicated academic professionals for multiple full-time faculty positions in Accounts & Finance at a reputable institution based in Islamabad. Opportunities are available across various academic ranks, including Lecturer, Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, and Professor. Successful candidates will be responsible for delivering high-quality education, conducting impactful research, and contributing to the overall development of students and the academic community within a dynamic higher education setting.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Accounts & Finance, preparing and conducting lectures, tutorials, assessments, and examinations. Engage in high-quality research and publish findings in HEC-recognized journals, consistent with the expectations of the academic rank. Supervise student research projects, dissertations, and theses to foster academic growth. Participate actively in curriculum development, academic planning, and accreditation processes to maintain and enhance program standards. Contribute to departmental committees, seminars, conferences, and faculty initiatives to support a vibrant academic environment. Provide mentorship to students by offering academic guidance and career support. Establish and nurture industry collaborations to facilitate internship and placement opportunities for students.
Required Qualifications
For the position of Lecturer, candidates must hold an MS or MPhil degree (18 years of education) in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a closely related discipline. Professional certifications such as ACCA, ACA, or CA will be considered an advantage. For Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, and Professor roles, a PhD in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field from an HEC-recognized institution is mandatory. Professional qualifications (ACCA, ACA, or CA) are highly desirable for these positions. Candidates must meet the latest HEC eligibility criteria relevant to their academic rank.
Experience
Lecturer candidates should have between 0 to 4 years of teaching and/or research experience. Assistant Professors are expected to possess relevant teaching, research, and publication experience as defined by HEC standards. Associate Professors require 8 to 10 years of post-PhD teaching and research experience, with a strong record of publications recognized by HEC. Professors must have over 15 years of post-PhD teaching and research experience, a substantial publication record, and demonstrated academic leadership capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
Candidates should demonstrate strong teaching, presentation, and classroom management skills. A deep understanding of accounting, finance, auditing, taxation, and corporate finance is essential. Proven expertise in research, academic writing, and publication is highly valued. Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills are necessary to thrive in this role. Experience in curriculum development, student mentoring, and academic administration will be advantageous. The ability to work collaboratively in a research-driven academic environment is important.
Candidates with specialization in Financial Accounting, Corporate Finance, Cost & Management Accounting, Auditing, Taxation, Financial Statement Analysis, Investment & Portfolio Management, Banking & Financial Institutions, Financial Management, Business Finance, or Accounting Information Systems are especially encouraged to apply.
