Electrical Technician (DAE)

Fast Link is seeking a skilled Electrical Technician with a degree in Electrical Engineering or Diploma of Associate Engineering in Electrical to join our team. The ideal candidate has at least one year of experience and excels in electrical circuit troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, installation, and commissioning of electrical systems. This role involves analyzing circuit functions, conducting routine maintenance, and ensuring the reliability and safety of electrical equipment. The technician will work independently without team management responsibilities, focusing on hands-on technical tasks to support operational efficiency. In this position, the Electrical Technician is responsible for maintaining and repairing electrical circuits and equipment, performing preventive maintenance to minimize downtime, and supporting installation and commissioning projects. Attention to detail and a thorough understanding of electrical preventive maintenance procedures are critical to success. The technician also utilizes maintenance management software to track service schedules and document maintenance activities, contributing to overall equipment management and safety compliance within the company.

Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic testing and troubleshooting of electrical circuits to identify faults and ensure proper functioning.
Carry out preventive maintenance procedures to extend the life of electrical equipment and prevent unexpected breakdowns.
Install and commission electrical systems and components according to technical drawings and specifications.
Analyze electrical circuit designs and layouts to optimize system performance and safety.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using maintenance management software.
Collaborate with engineering teams to support electrical system upgrades and modifications.
