Purchasing Manager

We are searching for a highly motivated and organized Purchasing Manager to join our team at HealthWise Rx (Fazal Din Pharma Plus). In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our pharmaceutical and medical supply procurement process, ensuring we have the necessary stock to meet patient needs while negotiating the best possible prices with vendors.

Responsibilities:

Manage and develop relationships with pharmaceutical and medical supply vendors.
Negotiate and secure the most favorable pricing and terms for medications, medical equipment, and other supplies.
Oversee the purchasing process, ensuring timely and accurate order placement.
Monitor inventory levels and implement strategies to maintain optimal stock levels while minimizing waste.
Analyze purchase data to identify cost-saving opportunities and negotiate better pricing with vendors.
Stay up-to-date on industry trends, including generic drug availability, medication shortages, and price fluctuations.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and purchasing policies.
Manage and maintain a comprehensive database of vendor information, pricing, and contracts.
Work collaboratively with pharmacy staff and other departments to ensure efficient purchasing and inventory management.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Pharmacy, or a related field (preferred).
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in pharmaceutical or medical supply purchasing.
Proven experience in negotiating and securing favorable contracts with vendors.
Strong understanding of inventory management principles and best practices.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems (preferred).
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
