We are looking for a skilled Fiber Optic Technician to join our team, focusing on the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of fiber optic networks, especially FTTH and GPON systems. This full-time role involves hands-on work in outdoor and field environments, providing on-site technical support and ensuring timely resolution of service issues. The successful candidate will be proficient in handling fiber optic tools and testing equipment, contributing to the reliability and performance of our network infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, splice, and maintain fiber optic networks, including FTTH and GPON systems.
- Troubleshoot fiber faults and efficiently address service complaints.
- Conduct on-site customer support and technical visits to resolve network issues.
- Ensure prompt resolution of outages and service disruptions to maintain network reliability.
- Properly handle fiber optic tools and operate OLT/ONT testing equipment such as OTDR devices.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in ISP or telecom fiber operations is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of GPON, FTTH technologies, fiber splicing, and OTDR testing.
- Ability to work effectively in outdoor and field environments.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills combined with good communication abilities.
- Responsible, punctual, and able to work well within a team setting.
