Currently, PARCO is inviting applications for the position of Field Operator (Oil Movement) at its Mid Country Refinery located in Mahmood Kot.

Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the safe and efficient operation of Tank Farm, Pipeline, and Blending facilities in strict accordance with approved Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Coordinate effectively during plant emergencies and promptly report any abnormal conditions to the Shift Engineer.
- Collaborate with DCS Controllers and perform critical field activities such as tank dipping, rundown and charging switchovers, blending of Mogas and Jet Fuels, pipeline receipt, and product dispatch to Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs).
- Maintain assigned equipment and systems in optimal operating condition, ensuring all parameters are within specified limits.
- Adhere rigorously to the Permit to Work (PTW) system and comply with all safety protocols.
- Facilitate the safe handover of equipment for maintenance and assist in proper re-commissioning processes.
- Execute daily operational tasks including the safe start-up and shutdown of plant units as per SOPs.
- Actively participate in emergency response and safety initiatives to uphold a secure working environment.

Required Qualifications
- Diploma of Associate Engineering (DAE) or Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Chemical Discipline from a recognized institution.
- Proficient knowledge of SAP, Tank Gauging System (TGS), and Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong technical understanding of pumps, turbines, compressors, fire and safety systems, and Permit to Work (PTW) procedures.
- Excellent communication, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

Experience
- Up to 12 years of relevant experience as a Plant Operator specializing in Oil Movement and Tank Farm operations within Petroleum Refineries, Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs), or Oil Exploration Companies (OECs).
- Hands-on operational experience in Tank Farm management, pipeline systems, and petroleum product blending.
