Textile Designer

Fifty Fourtex is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Textile Designer with at least one year of professional experience to join our innovative design team. The ideal candidate specializes in creating unique textile patterns and designs that align with current market trends and customer preferences. Working closely with product development teams, the Textile Designer applies advanced knowledge of fabric types, color theory, and surface pattern design to deliver visually appealing and commercially viable textile products. This role requires proficiency in various textile design software and digital printing technologies to efficiently translate conceptual ideas into high-quality fabric patterns. The Textile Designer proposes innovative design concepts, performs detailed technical drawings, and collaborates with production teams to ensure the feasibility of designs through different dyeing, printing, and finishing processes. The candidate must be adept at using digital tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, CorelDRAW, and CAD software specific to textile design. Although this position does not involve team management responsibilities, effective communication and collaboration skills are essential to work within cross-functional teams and meet project deadlines. Responsibilities

Develop and create original textile designs, patterns, and prints suitable for various fabric types and market needs.
Utilize textile design software and digital tools including Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, CorelDRAW, and CAD for Textile Design to produce accurate and detailed designs.
Apply color theory and surface pattern design techniques to enhance the visual appeal and functionality of textile products.
Collaborate with product development and production teams to ensure designs are technically feasible and align with manufacturing processes such as dyeing, screen printing, and digital textile printing.
Research and stay updated on current trends in textile design, fabric innovations, and printing technologies to maintain competitive and fresh product lines.
Create technical sketches and digital illustrations to communicate design concepts effectively to internal teams and external vendors.
Participate in the sampling process by providing detailed instructions and troubleshooting design issues during fabric development and production.
Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of material and meeting company quality standards.
Develop and maintain an organized digital library of designs, samples, and technical specifications for future reference and reuse.
Support the product lifecycle from concept through production by providing expertise in digital printing techniques, surface pattern design methods, and fabric characteristics.
