Footwear / Apparel Designer

We are seeking a creative and experienced Designer with a preferable background in footwear and apparel design. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of design software and industry-specific products, along with a keen eye for detail and a passion for fashion and functionality. This role involves creating visually compelling designs that align with our brand identity and resonate with our target audience.

Responsibilities:

Develop innovative and aesthetically pleasing designs for specialized footwear.
Create design concepts and prototypes for our new dress shoe brand.
Design and produce marketing materials, including catalogs, brochures, and online content.
Collaborate with the product development team to ensure designs are feasible and meet manufacturing standards.
Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate the latest design innovations into our products.
Prepare detailed technical drawings and specifications for production.
Work with external vendors and suppliers to source materials and components.
Participate in product fittings and make necessary design adjustments.
Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Fashion Design, Industrial Design, or a related field.
Proven experience in footwear and apparel design, preferably in the sports and performance sectors.
Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CorelDRAW, and CAD programs.
Strong portfolio showcasing relevant design work and creative abilities.
Excellent understanding of materials, production processes, and manufacturing constraints.
Ability to translate complex ideas into clear, compelling visual designs.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Knowledge of market trends and consumer preferences in the footwear and apparel industry.
