Do you have 3+ years of Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager experience? As a Digital Analyst, you will help us set goals and conversion tracking in Google Analytics, automate our reporting system, and use your skills and experience to deliver actionable insights on data collated for our market leading Job Boards. You will monitor performance trends and KPIs, working closely with key stakeholders to define the business problems that they are trying to solve and presenting your findings back clearly, based on your own evaluation. You will report directly into the Job Boards Director and work closely with the Group Product Director to aid your success in the role.

As a successful candidate, you will:

  • Collaborate with digital marketers, product managers and developers to identify, collect, and transform website and application data for analysis and report generation 
  • Acquaint yourself with the day-to-day issues that our business faces, which can be better understood with analytics and monitoring
  • Develop clear visualisation techniques to convey complex data in a straightforward fashion 
  • Analyse user behaviour, conversion data and customer journeys, funnel analysis and any multi-channel attribution
  • Use available data sources to deep dive and troubleshoot any issues/problems, as well as propose optimisation through automation of processes currently in place.
  • Analyse, validate and translate results into insights that influence and improve our business decisions and operational efficiency
  • Benchmark key metrics across the entire portfolio of our brands and customers

Skills we would like you to possess: 

  • Expert-level knowledge of Google Analytics & Search Console: minimum 2 years experience.
  • Highly proficient with Google Tag Manager
  • Working knowledge of Data Visualisation through Google Data Studio and similar tools.
  • Fully proficient with the use of real-time dashboards for monitoring data
  • Sound experience with Excel or Google Sheets
  • Use of website content auditing and tagging tools like WASP
  • SQL Server knowledge and ability to write basic queries and procedures
  • Experience working with Firebase for app development.
  • Understanding of lead generation and acquisition/ web traffic
  • Working knowledge of SEO and PPC would be great
  • Working knowledge of JSON would be great
  • Experience of writing scripts in Python would be an advantage
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills (both verbal and written) 
  • Confidence to express opinions and challenge assumptions
