Full Stack Software Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Full Stack Developer to design, develop, and maintain web applications tailored for healthcare environments. The ideal candidate will work on EMR/EHR platforms, creating secure, scalable backend APIs and responsive frontend interfaces for healthcare professionals and administrative users. This role involves managing PostgreSQL databases, integrating AI-powered healthcare features, and ensuring compliance with healthcare data privacy standards. The developer will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, maintainable software solutions that enhance clinical workflows and patient management.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain full stack web applications using React.js, Next.js, Node.js, Express.js, and PostgreSQL.
- Build secure, scalable, and maintainable backend APIs specifically for EMR/EHR platforms.
- Create responsive and user-friendly frontend interfaces for healthcare professionals, administrative staff, and internal users.
- Design, manage, and optimize relational database schemas in PostgreSQL.
- Write efficient SQL queries employing joins, indexes, transactions, stored procedures, and query optimization techniques.
- Develop features related to patient records, appointment scheduling, clinical documentation, billing, reporting, dashboards, and user management.
- Support the development and integration of AI-powered healthcare functionalities such as automated reporting, clinical workflow assistance, intelligent search, data summarization, predictive insights, and operational automation.
- Integrate AI/ML APIs, large language model tools, or third-party AI services as required.
- Work with both structured and unstructured healthcare data to support analytics, automation, and AI-assisted modules.
- Implement authentication, authorization, audit trails, and role-based access control to ensure data security.
- Follow secure coding practices when handling sensitive healthcare data and protected health information (PHI).
- Integrate third-party APIs and healthcare-related services when necessary.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve issues across frontend, backend, AI integration, and database layers.
- Write clean, reusable, maintainable, and well-documented code.
- Participate actively in code reviews, technical discussions, and sprint planning sessions.
- Adhere to version control best practices using Git, GitHub, GitLab, or similar platforms.
- Support deployment, bug fixing, performance optimization, and ongoing application maintenance activities.

Required Qualifications

- Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in full stack software development.
- Strong proficiency with React.js, Next.js, Node.js, Express.js, and PostgreSQL.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

- Experience working on healthcare software such as EMR/EHR systems, patient management, medical billing, or clinical workflow applications.
- Understanding of PHI, HIPAA regulations, healthcare data privacy, and compliance-related software practices.
- Experience integrating AI/ML APIs, large language models, chatbots, intelligent automation tools, or healthcare analytics features.
- Proficiency in Python for AI/ML, data processing, automation, or backend services.
- Familiarity with AI concepts including natural language processing, data classification, summarization, recommendation systems, and predictive analytics.
- Experience with TypeScript and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Knowledge of containerization and DevOps tools including Docker, CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments, and related workflows.
- Experience developing reporting dashboards, analytics modules, patient portals, claims, billing, or appointment systems.
- Skilled in testing frameworks and writing unit, integration, or API tests.
- Familiarity with UI libraries or frameworks such as Material UI, Tailwind CSS, or Bootstrap.
- Understanding of performance optimization techniques including caching, logging, and monitoring.

Work Schedule and Benefits

- Workdays: Monday to Friday
- Work hours: 6 PM to 3 AM PKT (Night shift)
- Gross Salary: $900 - $950 USD
