Full-Stack / Web Developer (Next.js & Python)

Bitbop is looking for a motivated Web Developer with about one year of experience to join our team in Islamabad under a hybrid work model. This role is ideal for someone eager to work on AI-driven SaaS, EdTech platforms, BPO/outsourcing, and enterprise solutions. You will play a key role in developing clean, responsive user interfaces and robust web applications. The position primarily involves working with Next.js for frontend development and Python APIs for backend services, delivering production-ready features, internal tools, and high-converting marketing platforms.

Key Responsibilities
Develop responsive, pixel-perfect user interfaces using Next.js (App Router), React, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS. Build and integrate RESTful APIs with Python (FastAPI) and Node.js, managing asynchronous requests and structured data flows efficiently. Design relational database schemas using SQL, including joins, indexes, and unique constraints, while implementing secure user authentication with Firebase Auth and JWTs. Optimize performance and SEO through server-side rendering (SSR) and static site generation (SSG) to ensure fast page loads, accessibility, and search engine visibility. Maintain a clean and stable codebase by following Git and pull-request workflows, taking full ownership of testing and ensuring feature stability before deployment.

Required Qualifications
Approximately one year of hands-on experience developing real-world web applications using Next.js and React. Proficiency in TypeScript, with the ability to write typed code by default and debug type errors effectively. Strong skills in Tailwind CSS, HTML5 semantic markup, Flexbox, and CSS Grid to create responsive designs from scratch. Practical knowledge of Python and FastAPI or the ability to quickly adapt, along with a solid understanding of core SQL concepts. Experience with token-based authentication mechanisms such as JWT and Firebase Auth. A commitment to clean coding practices, proper Git workflows, and writing tests to ensure deployment stability.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
Understanding of technical SEO elements, including metadata, semantic tags, and static site generation. Experience with analytics instrumentation, feature flagging, or A/B testing frameworks. Familiarity with building bilingual or right-to-left (RTL) interfaces, particularly Urdu localization.

The position offers a competitive base salary ranging from PKR 50,000 to 80,000 per month, depending on experience, along with performance-based incentives. The role is based in Islamabad with a hybrid remote working arrangement.
