A leading Group of industries is looking for experienced "Commercial/Procurement Manager" for its Faisalabad and Karachi office.
Manage logistics operation and coordinate with transporters and agents for contracting and subcontracting. Must have fair understanding of logistics and supply chain operation.
Prepare cost benefit analysis.
Develop and analyze the data to determine the problems and suggest appropriate measures.
Prepare funds requests for opening the LC & at the time of retirement of documents or on maturity of DA LC.
Responsible for reviewing purchase requirements shared by departments, develop annual procurement plans and place orders as required.
Review and execute ordering plan based upon requirement of departments as per procurement plan.
Liaise with relevant vendors for required product/services.
Verify accuracy of data entry into the Database system.
Interact with vendors to resolve bidding queries. Resolve queries related to documentation, estimated costs and quality of service. Correspond to guide on pre sample approvals. Negotiate contract details with contractors. Resolve payment related queries of contractors. Conduct market surveys to take potential vendors on board. Correspond with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of office supplies.
Share invoices details to ensure timely payment to vendors. Discusses audit queries. Correspond on financial issues and resolves related queries. Discuss budget allocation for each department before any purchase/procurement request. Liaise to resolve post payment vendor queries.
Note: this job requires extensive market knowledge with outdoor movement for procurement.
