Job Mission:
We are looking for a data scientist that will help us analyze a large amount of raw information to find patterns that will help us and our customers in making smarter decisions to improve our product and their business. Your primary focus will be on applying big data techniques, performing statistical analysis, and building high-quality prediction systems integrated with our products. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills are essential to this role.
Responsibilities:
- Selecting features, building and optimizing classifiers using machine learning techniques
- Enhancing data collection procedures to include information that is relevant for building analytic systems
- Data mining using state-of-the-art methods
- Develop metrics and dashboards to measure and track the value of the solutions
- Extending the company’s data with third-party sources of information when needed
- Processing, cleansing, and verifying the integrity of data used for analysis
- Doing ad-hoc analysis and presenting results in a clear manner
- Creating automated anomaly detection systems and constant tracking of its performance
Skills:
- Experience with common data science toolkits
- Excellent understanding of machine learning techniques and algorithms
- Great communication skills
- Experience with data visualization tools
- Proficiency in using query languages such as SQL
- Experience with NoSQL databases
- Good applied statistics skills, such as distributions, statistical testing, regression, etc.
- Good scripting and programming skills
- Data-oriented personality
- BSCS with major in big data or data science
Education: Bachelors or Master’s degree in computer science
Experience: 3+ years
Location: Lahore
Shift: Morning (09:00 AM – 06:00 PM)
