Hamdard Pakistan is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Assistant Manager for Supply Chain specializing in Costing and Finance. In this role, you will oversee procurement-related financial activities including payments, advances, and invoice processing, while ensuring strict adherence to company policies and optimizing cost structures. You will manage inventory costing processes and identify opportunities for cost reduction, all while working closely with various internal departments such as Procurement, Finance, and Accounts. With a focus on accuracy and compliance, you will play a vital role in maintaining financial integrity and operational efficiency within the supply chain. This position involves managing a small team of two professionals, providing leadership and guidance to ensure seamless execution of supply chain finance operations. Your responsibilities will include preparing detailed financial reports using ERP tools like SAP, monitoring payment aging and ensuring timely settlements, and maintaining comprehensive records to support business decisions. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelors or Masters degree in Finance, Accounting, or Supply Chain Management, accompanied by 4-5 years of relevant experience in cost analysis, procurement finance, or related roles preferably within FMCG or manufacturing industries.
Responsibilities

  • Manage procurement payments, advances, and necessary adjustments to maintain financial accuracy.
  • Monitor and process Debit and Credit Notes ensuring proper documentation and approval.
  • Oversee inventory costing processes and actively identify cost optimization and savings opportunities.
  • Track payment aging regularly and ensure timely settlement of all outstanding supplier payments.
  • Prepare detailed procurement-related financial reports using ERP systems with a focus on SAP.
  • Review procurement transactions thoroughly to confirm accuracy and enforce compliance with company policies.
  • Collaborate effectively with Procurement, Finance, Accounts, and other departments to support supply chain financial operations.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records to assist in financial analysis and audit readiness.
  • Lead, supervise, and mentor a team of two, ensuring effective workload distribution and performance management.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting activities related to supply chain costs.
  • Analyze cost-benefit scenarios and provide insights to optimize procurement and operational expenses.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of procurement finance policies and procedures.
