Production Officer

The Production Officer at Hamdard Pakistan plays a crucial role in overseeing and monitoring daily production activities to ensure a seamless and efficient workflow. This position requires a meticulous approach to achieving production targets promptly while adhering to established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), quality standards, and safety guidelines. The role involves close coordination with cross-functional teams such as Quality Assurance, Quality Control, and Engineering to maintain high-quality production outputs and resolve any operational challenges promptly. This role demands a proactive professional with a background in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related fields, combined with 1 to 3 years of relevant experience preferably in the Pharmaceutical or Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry. The Production Officer must possess strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills to effectively handle the dynamic environment of production operations. Although this role does not involve team management responsibilities, the incumbent is expected to monitor manpower, machinery, and material utilization efficiently while maintaining cleanliness and hygiene within the production area, thus contributing to overall production efficiency and waste minimization.
Responsibilities

Monitor and supervise daily production operations to ensure smooth and continuous workflow.
Ensure production targets are consistently achieved within assigned timelines while maintaining quality standards.
Maintain strict adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and safety protocols throughout the production process.
Collaborate and coordinate closely with Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Engineering, and other relevant departments to address any production issues and ensure product quality.
Track and optimize the utilization of manpower, machinery, and material resources to maximize production efficiency.
Prepare, maintain, and accurately document production records, reports, and other relevant documentation as per company and regulatory requirements.
Identify, report, and facilitate the resolution of operational issues by collaborating with appropriate teams to minimize downtime and disruptions.
Ensure high standards of cleanliness and hygiene are maintained within production areas to comply with safety and quality guidelines.
Assist in the continuous improvement of production processes to enhance efficiency and reduce wastage, contributing to cost savings and higher productivity.
Stay informed about industry best practices and regulations to continuously improve production operations and maintain compliance.
