Regulatory Officer

Responsibilities

Monitor and interpret relevant laws, regulations, and guidelines affecting the companys operations.
Prepare, review, and submit regulatory applications, reports, and correspondence accurately and timely.
Maintain all necessary licenses, permits, certificates, and regulatory records, ensuring they are current and compliant.
Coordinate and communicate effectively with government agencies and regulatory authorities to facilitate inspections and audits.
Support regulatory inspections, audits, and investigations by preparing documentation and responding to queries promptly.
Identify areas of non-compliance or compliance gaps and recommend practical corrective actions to mitigate risks.
Conduct regular compliance checks and maintain comprehensive documentation to demonstrate adherence to regulatory requirements.
Provide clear and relevant regulatory guidance to internal departments to ensure alignment with current laws and standards.
Track deadlines for regulatory submissions, license renewals, and other critical compliance activities to prevent lapses.
Prepare periodic compliance reports for management, highlighting compliance status, risks, and improvement opportunities.
