Job Description

Key Accountabilities:

  •  Develop and implement strategic sales plans and forecasts 
  • Allocation of sales targets across sales territories/domains.
  •  Design and continuously monitor product mix in focus with set targets.
  • Build a “Sales Culture” where every team member is working towards combined success with a passion to win
  • Conduct weekly sales and customer service meetings to ensure the teams are on track to achieve and exceed budgets, through motivation, counselling, skills development, and product knowledge development.
  • Achieved both remotely and in the field on a regular basis.
  • Creation of staff development and training strategies (identify courses internally/externally)
  • Establish and maintain high standards of product and company knowledge for all sales Staff.
  •  Develop new products and suggest cost-effective and efficient solutions to the customers
  •  Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status.
  • Identify and contact potential customers for new business opportunities
  • Negotiate and close agreements with big customers 
  • Motivate and guide sales team to achieve sales targets
  •  Network with potential customers and business partners in an effort to promote RPL products
  •  Development and overseeing channel/distribution network strategies
  •  Monitoring sales performance across all channels/distribution networks
  • Address client issues and queries in a timely fashion
  • Coordinate with the marketing team to develop a comprehensive marketing strategy
  • Effective use of social media tools for brand awareness
  • Liaise with the marketing team to introduce new products and promotions based on customer feedback and requirements

Essential Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelors or Master’s degree from a reputed / HEC recognized university

Professional Experience:

  • 10-12 years of experience in Sales, Marketing and distribution function with (Minimum 5 years in a Leadership role) particularly in B2B domain

Behavioral Skills and Competencies:

  • Excellent Communication, Persuasion, Analytical, Negotiation and Team Leadership Skills
  • Preferred industry: Packaging, Manufacturing or any B2B manufacturing concern
