Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and submit technical proposals, compliance statements, and bid documents to meet client requirements.
- Draft technical correspondence including letters, requests for quotations, specifications, and other communication with clients and manufacturers.
- Interpret and analyze single-line diagrams, electrical drawings, datasheets, and project specifications to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Prepare detailed equipment schedules, bills of quantity (BOQs), and technical comparison sheets to support project planning and procurement.
- Identify and evaluate suitable manufacturers and suppliers of electrical equipment based on project needs and technical requirements.
- Obtain and assess quotations from suppliers, considering both technical validity and commercial competitiveness.
- Review catalogs, datasheets, type test reports, and technical drawings to verify equipment suitability and compliance with project specifications.
- Assist in cost estimation and bid pricing to support competitive and accurate project bids.
- Coordinate responses to technical queries and clarifications with suppliers and customers to facilitate smooth project execution.
- Support procurement activities including contract execution, equipment inspection, documentation management, and project coordination.
- Prepare regular progress reports to document engineering activities and project milestones clearly and accurately.
- Maintain comprehensive engineering records, ensuring all documentation is complete, current, and accessible.
- Perform additional engineering tasks and duties as assigned by management to support project success and continuous learning.
