This role focuses on designing and executing proof of concept (PoC) testing, validating solutions, and delivering highly technical demonstrations to support enterprise networking projects. The ideal candidate demonstrates a strong background in Datacom products and enterprise WAN/Campus networking, enriched by knowledge of SD-WAN and SD-LAN technologies. The position requires managing a team of five professionals, ensuring collaborative achievement of project goals and seamless coordination in delivering technical solutions.
In addition to technical expertise, this role demands comprehensive customer engagement skills, encompassing client requirement analysis, preparation of detailed test and validation documentation, and support for user acceptance testing. The engineer leads troubleshooting and optimization efforts and works closely with solution architects, delivery teams, and product managers to ensure the highest quality standards throughout project execution. The role demands strong English communication abilities, with Chinese language skills considered a plus, and a minimum of three years of relevant experience in networking, pre-sales, and technical support.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain comprehensive enterprise networking test environments and labs to simulate real-world conditions.
- Perform PoC testing, feature validation, interoperability testing, and detailed performance analysis tailored to customer project needs.
- Deliver compelling technical presentations, live demonstrations, and workshops to support pre-sales initiatives and customer engagement.
- Analyze client requirements meticulously to assess the technical feasibility and tailor solutions that align with business objectives.
- Develop thorough test plans, maintain rigorous technical documentation, and produce validation reports to ensure solution accuracy.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve network issues encountered during testing while recommending actionable optimization strategies.
- Collaborate closely with solution architects, delivery teams, and product managers to drive smooth project execution and customer satisfaction.
- Conduct competitive testing and benchmark analyses to strategically position networking solutions against market offerings.
- Support User Acceptance Testing activities and assist customers in technical validations to guarantee solution effectiveness.
- Ensure adherence to testing standards and best practices, fostering continuous improvement in testing methodologies.
- Manage and mentor a team of five professionals, delegating tasks, monitoring performance, and facilitating skill development to achieve team and organizational objectives.
