ACCOUNTANT

Hisaabhire is seeking a detail-oriented and responsible Accountant to oversee daily accounting operations and ensure accurate financial management. The successful candidate will maintain financial records, manage transactions, and support financial reporting activities. This role requires strong organizational skills and a keen eye for accuracy to uphold the company's financial integrity. The Accountant will also take a leadership role by managing a team of 10 accounting professionals, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to accounting standards. The ideal candidate will possess relevant accounting qualifications and have between 2 to 5 years of practical accounting experience. Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software is essential to perform data entry, reconciliation, and reporting efficiently. Strong communication abilities facilitate coordination across departments and reporting to leadership. This position is based in Karachi and requires a committed individual who can manage a broad spectrum of accounting tasks while leading a team to achieve departmental goals.
Responsibilities

Manage and oversee daily accounting operations including accounts payable and receivable to ensure transactions are recorded accurately and timely.
Maintain and update the general ledger by recording financial transactions appropriately.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and statements to support management decision-making.
Supervise a team of 10 accounting personnel, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to enhance team productivity and accuracy.
Ensure compliance with accounting principles, regulations, and company policies to uphold legal and financial standards.
Conduct bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in financial data.
Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial planning.
Collaborate with auditors during internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and clarifications.
Utilize MS Excel and accounting software to organize data, perform financial analyses, and generate reports.
Identify process improvements within the accounting functions to increase efficiency and accuracy.
Coordinate with other departments to collect necessary financial information and maintain effective communication channels.
