Accountant

HOC Floors is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant with a minimum of 2 years of experience to join our finance department. The ideal candidate will manage all accounting operations, ensuring accurate and timely processing of accounts payable and receivable. This role involves supporting audit activities and requires proficiency in using accounting software specifically designed for accounting and billing tasks. The Accountant will lead and coordinate a team of 10 persons, guiding them to achieve departmental goals and maintain high standards of financial accuracy. The candidate must have strong organizational skills and a thorough understanding of financial principles and procedures. This role demands the ability to oversee daily accounting activities while ensuring compliance with company policies and relevant regulations. Effective team management and the ability to communicate clearly within a group setting are vital. The Accountant will also collaborate closely with other departments to secure efficient financial operations across the organization.
Responsibilities

Manage and oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure timely and accurate transactions.
Operate and maintain accounting software dedicated to accounting and billing, guaranteeing data accuracy.
Support and prepare documentation for internal and external audits to ensure compliance.
Lead, coordinate, and supervise a team of 10 accounting personnel to meet departmental objectives.
Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
Prepare financial reports and statements that reflect the companys financial status.
Ensure adherence to company policies, legal standards, and financial regulations.
Collaborate with other departments to improve accounting processes and resolve financial issues.
Monitor and manage billing processes, ensuring invoices are generated and distributed correctly.
Provide training and guidance to team members on accounting procedures and software usage.
