IELTS | PTE Tutor

Hoist Horizons Consultancy is seeking a skilled and dedicated IELTS | PTE Tutor to join the team at our on-site campus located in Khayaban-e-Amin, Lahore. This role focuses on delivering computer-based IELTS and PTE test preparation classes, helping students improve their English language proficiency and achieve target scores required for international study opportunities. The ideal candidate possesses strong knowledge of IELTS and PTE exam formats along with proven experience in coaching spoken English and academic writing. The role involves lesson planning, conducting practice tests, providing constructive feedback, and tracking student progress to ensure continual improvement. As an IELTS | PTE Tutor, you will work closely with the English Lab teaching team and Hoist Horizons consultants to support students aiming to study in countries such as Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, the United States, Europe, and Malaysia. While this position does not include team management responsibilities, it requires excellent coordination skills and the ability to contribute professionally in a collaborative environment. Success in this role is measured by the ability to confidently deliver engaging classes, improve student mock test scores, maintain structured lesson plans, and submit timely score reports and feedback.
Responsibilities

Deliver comprehensive IELTS and PTE preparation classes focusing on computer-based test formats.
Coach students in developing spoken English skills and academic writing relevant to IELTS and PTE examinations.
Design lesson plans tailored to individual student needs with an emphasis on reading comprehension, listening, speaking, and writing components.
Conduct regular practice tests to assess student progress and provide clear, actionable feedback to help students improve.
Track and document student performance and progress reports to ensure targeted study goals are met.
Utilize IELTS assessment criteria, including speaking, writing, and listening standards, to guide student evaluation and enhance test readiness.
Collaborate with the counseling and operations teams to align test preparation with each students admission plans and goals.
Maintain professional, structured, and well-reviewed classes to foster a positive learning environment.
Submit detailed lesson plans, student score reports, and feedback in a timely manner.
Support students in understanding test strategies specific to computer-based IELTS and PTE exam formats.
