Summary:

The position of Information Officer comprises answering inquiries and processing information collected from the public, customers, visitors, and other interested parties. It also provides information regarding activities conducted at the establishment; services provided, location of departments, offices, and employees within the organization. 

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Greet parents' and other parties entering or calling the campus, determine nature and purpose of visit/call and directly escort or guide them to specific destinations within the organization.
  • Processing and maturing the students' admission in terms of enrollment with non-financial aspects.
  • Dealing and satisfying the queries by clients. Assist in resolving complaints from parents.
  • Facilitation and scheduling of new admission test conduction.
  • Follow up on admission related inquiries
  • Handling day-to-day tasks involving campus operations with campus management and allied departments concerned.
  • Collect, sort, distribute and prepare email messages and courier deliveries.
  • Dissemination of approved circulars to parents and/or students and maintaining their records.
  • Operate telephone switchboard to answer and forward calls, providing information, taking messages and scheduling appointments.
  • Perform administrative support tasks such as record keeping and operating computers to work with attendance records and other documents.
  • Check emails for leave and manage attendance records.
  • Checking staff attendance daily and maintaining a record in excel file.
  • Provide information about establishments such as the location of departments or offices, employees within the organization, or services provided.
  • Transmit information or documents to parents, other campuses or departments, using an email or courier.
  • Maintain meetings record in appointments log.
  • Managing issuance of resources to faculty and maintaining records.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and related software.
  • Organized with attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.

Education and Experience:

  •  Minimum Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  •   Multiple years of experience in the relevant field or department.
  •   Not less than 25 years of age.
