Infotech Group is seeking a skilled and motivated Business Analyst with 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will lead end-to-end business analysis activities, including comprehensive requirement gathering, creating detailed documentation, and supporting project execution phases. This role requires active collaboration between business and technical teams, ensuring clear communication and smooth project delivery. Strong client-facing abilities are essential to manage discussions confidently and bridge the gap between diverse stakeholders. The candidate will work closely with development, quality assurance, and project management teams to deliver high-quality outputs in an Agile environment.
The Business Analyst must be proficient in creating and managing various documentation artifacts such as Business Requirement Specifications, Functional Specifications, and System Requirement Specifications. Additionally, the role involves preparing wireframes, mockups, and UML diagrams to visualize requirements effectively. The analyst will coordinate User Acceptance Testing activities, support change management processes, and assist in project planning and reporting. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail are required to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently. While this position does not involve managing a team, collaboration and leadership qualities are valued to foster cooperation within project teams.
Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements by conducting workshops and engaging in Business Analyst meetings to understand stakeholders' needs thoroughly.
- Prepare clear and comprehensive documentation including Business Requirement Specifications (BRS), System Requirement Specifications (SRS), and Functional Specification Documents (FSD) to provide a strong foundation for project deliverables.
- Develop wireframes, mockups, and Unified Modeling Language (UML) diagrams to illustrate business processes and system interactions effectively.
- Translate business requirements into user stories, workflows, process flows, use cases, and acceptance criteria to guide development and testing teams.
- Collaborate closely with development and quality assurance teams to ensure requirement clarity and support seamless project delivery within Agile/Scrum frameworks.
- Plan and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities, including reviewing test scenarios, logging issues, and managing UAT progress to ensure the product meets business needs.
- Assist in project planning, status reporting, risk and issue management, and progress tracking to keep all stakeholders informed and aligned.
- Communicate effectively with clients to handle queries, provide updates, and facilitate decision-making processes.
- Utilize tools such as JIRA for backlog and task management, Microsoft Project Professional for schedule planning, and other relevant platforms to enhance productivity and transparency.
- Support scope and change management by assessing impact, documenting changes, and ensuring updated requirements reflect agreed modifications.
- Demonstrate a strong technical understanding of integrations, APIs, database basics, and system flows to bridge communication between business and technical teams.
- Maintain ownership mindset by meeting deadlines and adapting to changing project demands while ensuring high-quality deliverables.
- Coordinate with team members and project stakeholders to promote collaboration and build productive working relationships.
- Prepare detailed project status reports and maintain risk and issue logs to proactively identify and address potential challenges.
- Travel occasionally when required to engage with clients or participate in project-related activities.
