Job Purpose:
This incumbent will be responsible for leading and implementing social cohesion and conflict resolution activities in the assigned project areas in close coordination with the Project Team. The Social Cohesion Officer will report to the Project Coordinator to ensure effective project implementation and coordination. The candidate is expected to travel extensively and spend maximum time in the field to facilitate dialogue, consensus-building, and peaceful coexistence between host and refugee communities.
Key Accountabilities:
· Facilitate structured and inclusive dialogue between host and refugee communities.
· Identify, document, and mediate community-level conflicts and grievances.
· Promote consensus-based solutions and peaceful dispute resolution mechanisms.
· Ensure meaningful participation of women, youth, persons with disabilities, and marginalized groups.
· Coordinate closely with project staff for integrated and conflict-sensitive programming.
· Maintain accurate records and submit timely reports to management.
· Uphold Organization safeguarding, protection, and accountability standards at all times.
Person Specification: It is essential that the post holder shows a good understanding and sympathy with the organizational values & principles, vision and mission as well as commitment to its PSEAH (preventing sexual exploitation abuse and harassment) protocols. The organization has a zero-tolerance policy towards PSEAH and don’t support any action that promotes or encourages PSEAH.

Qualification: Bachelor / Master Degree in Social Sciences, Peace & Conflict Studies, Sociology, or related field.
Experience: Minimum experience of similar role in NGO setup:
· 3 years with Master degree and/or 5 years with Bachelor degree
Language: English, Urdu and Local Languages
Computer: MS Office, Outlook, ERP systems familiarity
