JazzCash is one of the largest branchless banking deployments in Pakistan. We launched e-commerce payment gateway 2 years back with an objective to digitize government and corporate collections. This is a new product which includes debit/credit card payments, mobile accounts, direct debit and voucher payments. The team’s objective is to revolutionize the way e-commerce payments are done in Pakistan.
What the first 30-60-90 days in the job will look like?
Within 30 days you will:
Attend and graduate from our company-wide on boarding process along with a detailed orientation program where you will learn about Jazz’s core values, business, and products
Meet the relevant stakeholders concerning your team
Develop understanding of your division, function, its structure, and your role within the team.
Analyze transaction trends for e-commerce gateway and merchants to suggest improvements resulting in revenue and transactions
Work with the team to streamline bank end processes to ensure timely resolution of client complaints
Within 60 days, you will:
Create a digital marketing strategy to effectively promote the products
Work on strategy for 2019 growth plan and present the plan to MFS management for approval
Finalize new campaigns to tap into segments more aggressively for exponential growth in the segment
Work with product development team to finalize new product development and requirements.
Within 90 days onwards, you will:
Ensure new & innovative campaigns and work with brands teams to positively change the way marketing communication is done
Design efficient on-boarding processes so merchants can go live in hours not days
Meet with strategic alliance partner banks to finalize projects for next year

The JazzCash E-commerce product has evolved tremendously since launch with many new features. We have done global benchmarking to see evolving trends and how we can address local needs. We have been translating merchant needs into functional requirements. It is now about capitalizing on increased awareness in the market and moving customers to trial on e-commerce.
A bit about you:
We are looking for someone who has delivered on challenging projects and has taken end to end responsibility from planning to roll out within Payments domain.
You should be a team player with a passion to build new financial services products. The incumbent should be well versed in digital marketing and have excellent project management skills. You should be a passionate product manager always looking for improvements in your product. Curious about global best practices and how to promote digital payments in Pakistan.
A bit about us
The Payments team is part of the Digital Payments & Partnerships Department within the MFS Division. The team is responsible for managing Digital Payments portfolio at Jazz.
The structure of the team you will join is:
· A 09-member team (including the department head) with 2 sub teams
· You will be part of a 3-member sub-team reporting to Head of Digital Partnership
The two (02) main priorities of the team as a whole are:
Lock strategy for next year target achievement in coordination with sales and finance units
Develop strategy to recruit active mobile customers on e-commerce platform, induce trial and ensure repeat usage
To collaborate and produce effective business results, the role requires
The ability to build strong relationships with External Teams: Mobilink Bank team
The ability to build strong relationships with Internal Teams: sales, product development, product management and technology teams
The two (02) specific tasks that team was working on in the last 6 months with results.
Develop an effective strategy to meet merchant sign up targets and streamline on boarding processes
Should have worked on data analysis on existing mobile account base to convert them to e-commerce active customers
The four (04) must have past experiences the best candidate should have.
Debit card / Credit card industry knowledge will be a plus
The technology the candidate should have worked on.
Essential skills must have:
Data Analysis in order to review and analyze data and be able to extract meaningful insights
Data Presentation skills for being able to present data in order to make quick decisions
Advance communication skills for managing cross functional projects.
Back ground in managing any e-commerce start up
