We are looking for a Junior System Administrator to join our team and assist with the deployment, configuration, and daily monitoring of both physical servers and virtual machines. This role requires managing storage allocation, user access permissions, and performing routine backup operations to ensure the infrastructure runs smoothly. The successful candidate will be proactive in identifying and resolving hardware, network, and system performance issues to maintain optimal system functionality.
Key Responsibilities
- Deploy, configure, and monitor physical servers and virtual machines across various environments.
- Manage storage resources, including SAN/NAS allocation and network share setup.
- Administer user access permissions to uphold security standards and compliance requirements.
- Conduct routine backup and recovery operations to protect enterprise data.
- Monitor system health continuously and troubleshoot hardware, network, and performance issues efficiently.
- Apply patches and updates to physical and virtual servers within Windows, Linux, VMware, and H3C UIS platforms.
Required Qualifications
- Proven technical skills in provisioning, monitoring, and patching servers on Windows, Linux, VMware, and H3C UIS environments.
- Experience managing SAN/NAS storage systems and configuring network shares.
- Competence in enterprise backup and recovery procedures.
- Strong troubleshooting abilities related to hardware, network, and system performance challenges.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline is preferred.
- Candidates holding an Associate degree along with relevant technical certifications and practical experience will also be considered.
- Competitive monthly salary ranging from Rs90,000 to Rs110,000.
- On-site work location, offering hands-on experience with physical infrastructure.
