We are seeking a detail-oriented, reliable, and motivated Junior Accounts Data Entry Officer to join our finance and accounts team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining accurate financial records by entering daily accounting transactions into our ERP system and assisting with routine ledger reconciliations. This position requires a solid understanding of basic accounting principles, at least one year of practical accounting experience, and strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP software.
Key Responsibilities
Transaction Recording: Accurately input daily financial transactions into the ERP system, including purchase invoices, sales vouchers, payment receipts, and journal entries.
Ledger & Account Reconciliation: Assist with vendor and supplier ledger reconciliations, customer account reviews, and bank statement reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Spreadsheet Management: Maintain and update daily accounting logs, tracking sheets, and reports using Microsoft Excel to support financial monitoring and reporting.
Document Management: Match purchase orders, goods receipt notes (GRNs), and invoices, ensuring proper physical and digital filing of accounting vouchers and audit-trail documents.
Month-End Support: Provide assistance to senior accountants during month-end closings, inventory verifications, and routine internal audit preparations.
Data Integrity: Identify and correct entry discrepancies, ensuring all records comply with standard operating procedures and accounting policies.
Required Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com), BBA with a focus on Finance or Accounting, or a related diploma/certification.
Experience: Minimum of one year of hands-on experience in accounts data entry, bookkeeping, or a junior accounting role.
Technical Skills:
- ERP Proficiency: Experience working with ERP systems, including entering vouchers, generating ledger reports, and navigating inventory and accounts modules.
- Microsoft Excel: Strong skills in formulas and functions such as SUMIF, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, data sorting and filtering, and basic Pivot Tables.

- Good 10-key/numeric keypad typing speed and data verification skills.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
The position is based in Karachi, Baldia Town, with preference given to candidates able to work on-site. The monthly salary ranges from Rs35,000 to Rs40,000. Candidates will be asked about their years of accounting or financial data entry experience and the ERP accounting software platforms they have previously used.
