Accounts Manager

Khurshid Textile Mills is seeking an experienced Accounts Manager to lead its accounting department. The ideal candidate will have at least seven years of experience in accounting and finance, demonstrating proficiency in managing comprehensive financial operations. This role involves overseeing financial reporting, accounts payable and receivable, general ledger accounting, and tax compliance. The Accounts Manager will utilize ERP systems to streamline accounting processes and ensure accuracy and efficiency in all financial transactions. This position requires strong leadership skills as it involves managing a team of five accounting professionals, fostering a collaborative and results-driven work environment. The Accounts Manager will serve as a key link between the finance department and other departments within Khurshid Textile Mills. Responsibilities include preparing accurate financial statements, maintaining compliance with relevant tax regulations, and optimizing the use of ERP software to support the organizations financial integrity. The role demands a detail-oriented professional who can analyze financial data, identify areas for improvement, and implement effective financial controls. The incumbent will also coordinate audits and work closely with external auditors to ensure transparency and accountability in the organizations financial practices.
Responsibilities

Manage and supervise the daily accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
Prepare, review, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and payroll within the organization.
Oversee tax compliance activities, ensuring that all tax liabilities are accurately calculated and filed in accordance with statutory requirements.
Implement and maintain efficient accounting policies, controls, and procedures aligned with company goals and regulatory standards.
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of five accounting staff, promoting teamwork and professional growth.
Coordinate and assist with internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and addressing audit findings appropriately.
Utilize ERP software to manage financial data, streamline processes, and improve reporting capabilities.
Monitor cash flows, budgets, and financial forecasts to support the companys financial planning and decision-making.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless financial operations and to address financial queries or issues.
Review and update financial procedures to enhance accuracy and efficiency within the accounting department.
Stay updated on changes in financial regulations and best practices to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.
