Mathematics Lecturer

KIPS is seeking a dedicated Mathematics Lecturer with a strong passion for teaching and student development to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 16 years of education in the relevant subject area and at least three years of teaching experience, preferably at the intermediate level. This role involves delivering engaging lectures, developing comprehensive curriculum materials, and assessing student progress to foster a deep understanding of mathematical concepts. Excellent communication skills and a firm grasp of the subject matter are essential for success in this position. The Mathematics Lecturer will play a crucial role in shaping the academic growth of students by creating an inclusive and interactive learning environment. Although this position does not involve managing a team, the lecturer will collaborate closely with other faculty members and administrative staff to ensure the highest educational standards are met. Commitment to continuous improvement and active participation in educational planning are key components of this role.
Responsibilities

Develop and deliver effective lectures that cover the required mathematics curriculum and engage students.
Create and revise curriculum materials to ensure they meet educational standards and student needs.
Design and administer assessments to evaluate student understanding and progress accurately.
Provide timely feedback and support to students to encourage academic growth and address learning challenges.
Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of developments in the field of mathematics education and integrate relevant innovations into teaching methods.
Collaborate with colleagues to coordinate course content and improve overall instructional quality.
Participate in academic committees and meetings to contribute to the continuous enhancement of the institution's educational programs.
Support student development beyond academics by promoting critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and confidence in mathematics.
Maintain records of student performance and prepare reports as required by the institution.
Promote a positive classroom environment that encourages participation, inclusivity, and respect.
Adhere to institutional policies and standards regarding teaching, assessment, and student engagement.
