With 5 to 7 years of experience, this Hyderabad-based role offers a compelling opportunity to join as an Engineering Manager within an agile team. The position centers on delivering high-quality software solutions that align with business goals and Agile methodologies. The successful candidate will provide strong technical leadership, oversee software architecture, and work closely with cross-functional teams to build scalable, secure, and maintainable systems.
Key Responsibilities
Lead an agile engineering team to deliver software solutions on schedule while ensuring alignment with business requirements and Agile principles. Provide technical leadership and strategic direction for both the team and projects. Own the overall technical architecture, focusing on scalability, performance, security, and maintainability. Collaborate effectively with product owners, designers, QA, and other stakeholders to ensure project success. Facilitate technical discussions and decision-making processes. Identify and manage technical risks and issues, developing mitigation strategies as needed. Produce clear documentation covering code, processes, and system architecture. Translate business requirements into clean, scalable, and maintainable code. Mentor senior and junior developers by offering technical guidance and conducting thorough code reviews.
Required Qualifications
Proven experience in software development with a demonstrated ability to lead teams. Hands-on expertise in .NET development, especially in building scalable, maintainable, and high-performance REST APIs using microservices architecture. Strong knowledge of AWS services such as EC2, EKS, and Lambda. Proficiency in writing high-quality unit and integration tests using frameworks like xUnit or nUnit, with practical experience in Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD). Experience with mocking frameworks to support effective testing. Ability to create and review both high-level and low-level design documents. Skilled in conducting code reviews and applying design patterns along with security best practices. Experience working with SQL or NoSQL databases. Practical knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes. Familiarity with source control systems like Git (Bitbucket, GitHub, GitLab). Experience implementing Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. Understanding of static code quality analysis tools and vulnerability management.
