Responsible for processing of transportation payments to cartage contractors, freight settlements to OMCs, rebate processing, ledger reconciliations and related financial reporting. The role involves ensuring accurate accounting of transactions, reporting, compliance with OGRA/regulatory requirements, timely settlements of freights, preparation of management reports and coordination with external auditors regarding statutory audits. Pipeline operators, OMCs and internal stakeholders.


Responsibilities
  • Manage and monitor monthly surplus/deficit calculations, including verification of purchase volumes, freight rates, noted costs, refinery costs and applicable OGRA notifications. 

  • Ensure accurate accounting and book keeping of IFEM-related transactions and maintain supporting records. 

  • Prepare schedules and regulatory/statutory reports as required. 

  • Coordinate and ensure timely processing of transportation payments to cartage contractors, pipeline operators and refineries, including invoice verification, rate validation, calculations and relevant supporting documentation. 

  • Prepare and maintain transportation and freight-related claims, transport certificates, actual product movement and freight pool schedules in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements. 

  • Process and review journey incident, diversion and freight adjustment reports, ensuring timely resolution and coordination with relevant departments. 

  • Verify and reconcile Intercompany Freight Settlement (ICFS) reports with applicable IFEM schedules and coordinate necessary adjustments and settlements. 

  • Liaise with internal departments, refineries, pipeline operators, regulatory authorities and other stakeholders to resolve issue related to freight and settlement-related matters. 

  • Support internal/external audits, regulatory reviews and special assignments.
