The Life Skills & PBL Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting and training teachers to effectively deliver Life Skills modules through engaging sessions and activities. Reporting to the Project Manager and the DIL Life Skills trainer, this position ensures the successful implementation of Project-Based Learning (PBL), sports, and art activities across all schools within the project. The coordinator works closely with educators to enhance teaching quality, monitor student progress, and align extracurricular activities with the overall curriculum objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Life Skills Training:
- Train designated Life Skills teachers on delivering the curriculum modules effectively.
- Observe classroom sessions to identify gaps in teaching and provide targeted support to address these areas.
- Organize and facilitate regular meetings with Life Skills teachers to share best practices and learning outcomes.
- Monitor teacher progress and resolve challenges in collaboration with the project manager.
- Track student progress using data from pre- and post-assessments to measure learning impact.
PBL, Sports, and Art Training and Oversight:
- Oversee the implementation of PBL activities in schools, ensuring alignment with PBL objectives.
- Assist teachers in planning and rolling out PBL initiatives for each grade level.
- Supervise art and sports activities, ensuring they complement the curriculum and contribute to holistic student development.
Reporting and Administration:
- Prepare quarterly reports separately for Life Skills and PBL/sports/art activities.
- Support the Project Manager in designing and implementing the Life Skills curriculum.
- Assess students’ Life Skills needs to tailor interventions effectively.
- Maintain comprehensive records including assessments, enrollment, attendance, student work, photographs, and material purchases.
- Assist in tracking project expenses and budget management alongside the manager.
Professional Development:

Additional Duties:
- Provide support for any other tasks assigned by line managers, especially those related to new interventions or program enhancements.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in training and supporting teachers, preferably in Life Skills education or related fields.
- Strong understanding of Project-Based Learning methodologies and curriculum integration.
- Ability to observe, assess, and provide constructive feedback to educators.
- Competence in data tracking and reporting for both teacher and student progress.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple responsibilities including record-keeping and budget tracking.
