Accountant

Lumen Textile is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Accountant to manage and maintain accurate financial records and bookkeeping operations. The ideal candidate has at least four years of experience and possesses strong skills in general ledger management, accounts payable and receivable, invoice processing, and cashbook record keeping. This role requires a self-motivated individual who demonstrates honesty, loyalty, and a strong willingness to learn and grow within the organization. The position focuses on maintaining financial accuracy and compliance while supporting the company's financial integrity. The Accountant will be responsible for managing various accounting functions including billing and invoicing, accounts payable and receivable, and general ledger accounting. The role requires close attention to detail to ensure transactions are recorded correctly and financial documents are prepared accurately and timely. The successful candidate will work independently, taking responsibility for the full accounting cycle without managing a team, and will contribute significantly to the financial health and operational efficiency of Lumen Textile.
Responsibilities

Maintain accurate and organized general ledger accounts and ensure reliability of financial data.
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions in a timely and accurate manner.
Prepare and process invoices, bills, and payments efficiently to maintain good supplier relations and cash flow.
Record and reconcile cashbook activities to ensure accurate financial tracking and reporting.
Manage billing and invoicing tasks, including verifying invoice accuracy and addressing discrepancies.
Ensure compliance with accounting principles, company policies, and financial regulations.
Reconcile accounts regularly and prepare reports to support internal and external audits.
Maintain confidentiality and integrity of financial information, upholding company honesty and ethical standards.
Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and assist in implementing best practices.
Coordinate with other departments to gather necessary financial data and support overall business operations.
Stay updated on relevant accounting standards, regulations, and best practices to enhance personal and organizational growth.
Demonstrate a proactive approach to learning and professional development within the accounting function.
