Terms of Reference:
- Lead on financial monitoring of all project activities ensuring accurate and timely payment of due costs, monitoring of all spend, reporting of over and under spend, identification of cost and savings including efficiencies and monitoring of all financial transactions to ensure that proper and legal procedures are always being followed
- Prepare and control budget sheets and expenditures, by following the standard operating procedures.
- Responsible for all bank transactions and payments, following the standard operating procedures on all transactions including hold receipts and invoices as required.
- To highlight to the Senior Management in a timely manner, any issues of delivery, impact, spend or risk as and when discovered
- Ensure full compliance with all applicable rules and regulations while monitoring and interpreting cash flows and predicting future expenditure trends
- Recommend change in procedures as needed to improve the financial oversight, including efficient use of resources within budget.
- Efficiently record, store and retrieve finance and accounts data, appropriately.
- Ensure adherence to the financial policies. Responsible for transparent financial procedures. Ensure smooth record keeping for audit.
- Perform other relevant duties as required by the Line Manager or senior management.
Pre-Requisites Skill Set:
- Post Graduate degree from HEC recognized institute in accounting or finance (essential)
- Good writing and reporting skills, in English (essential)
- 5+ years of managerial experience in accounts, finance or audit systems in medium to large scale organisation(s) (essential)
- Hands-on skills of MS Office especially Excel and Outlook as well as Quick books (essential)
- Post-Graduate diploma in accounting (desirable)
