MECONS Pvt Ltd. seeks an experienced Civil Engineer to lead engineering projects with a focus on transmission line construction. This role requires a seasoned professional with at least ten years of relevant experience, specializing in structural analysis and project management within the transmission line sector. The ideal candidate will manage a team of five professionals, overseeing all stages of project planning, design, execution, and quality control to ensure successful project completion while adhering to timelines and budgets.
The Civil Engineer is responsible for site inspections, cost estimation, and the creation of detailed AutoCAD plans and profiles. This role demands expertise in utilizing construction management software and building information modeling to optimize workflows and maintain construction quality standards. The incumbent will collaborate with various stakeholders to maintain compliance with regulations and enhance project efficiency across all phases.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of five civil engineering professionals, providing guidance, support, and performance assessments.
- Develop and review structural analysis reports to ensure safety, durability, and compliance with engineering standards.
- Create detailed construction designs, plans, and profiles using AutoCAD and related design software.
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate construction activities to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Conduct site inspections to monitor progress, quality standards, and compliance with safety regulations.
- Estimate project costs accurately and manage budgets to optimize resource allocation and reduce expenses.
- Implement construction quality control measures and procedures to maintain high standards throughout the project lifecycle.
- Utilize building information modeling (BIM) to enhance design visualization, coordination, and project communication.
- Apply construction management software tools to track project milestones, resources, and timelines effectively.
- Collaborate with contractors, suppliers, and clients to resolve technical issues and ensure smooth project execution.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, industry standards, and company policies in all project operations.
- Continuously evaluate and improve engineering processes to increase efficiency, quality, and safety in construction projects.
