Skills & Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for proper implementing, maintenance and improvement of the lab management system in the microbiology lab. Provide support in the implementation of ISO Standards as per site plan.
  • Microbiologic Laboratory Management with Emphasis on Creation, implementation and maintenance of all incoming, line and process as per monitoring plan. Document control of microbiologic monitoring data for all areas.
  • Execution and regulating quality assurance in microbiology to find out how microbes affect the product quality & shelf life along with ways to prevent  bacterial contamination in the product.
  • Responsible for day to day monitoring of operations, to check & ensure the CIP efficiency in the process. Trouble shooting in case of microbiologic deviations implementation of safety in the microbiology lab.
  • To ensure the implementation of departmental strategies and policies and provide leadership to his team. Report on the periodic basis of the progress and effectiveness of system development, implementation, monitoring review and improvement.
  • To participate in the development of SOP’s, WBI’s and quality standard for all testing and analysis methods. Ensuring that all the technical requirements are fulfilled and all the testing procedures are well established and maintained.
  • Ensure proper documentation and logging of tests and continuous improvement activities records. Participate and initiate in innovations, development and improvement initiatives. Support in proficiency testing of the micro related test under ISO 17025 scope.
  • Execution of in-house training of staff for GLP, Laboratory safety and microbiologic techniques, pathogens monitoring to ensure their competency in the respective tests being performed in the lab.
