Maryam Nawaz Health Clinic (MnHC) is seeking an experienced Lady Health Visitor (LHV) to join its healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of practical experience and be capable of conducting normal deliveries independently. This role requires proficiency in antenatal and postnatal care, labor and delivery management, and the ability to perform ultrasounds on pregnant women. The LHV will be responsible for managing outpatient department (OPD) activities efficiently, providing comprehensive patient examinations, care, and counseling to ensure the well-being of mothers and newborns. The role does not require managing a team but demands a high level of autonomy and accountability during night shifts from 8:00 PM to 8:00 AM. The selected candidate will receive a monthly salary of Rs. 40,000, along with additional commission or share on each delivery. Accommodation is provided to support the convenience of living close to the clinic. Responsibilities

  • Independently conduct normal deliveries with safety and efficiency following clinical guidelines.
  • Manage outpatient department (OPD) operations during assigned shifts, ensuring smooth and timely patient flow.
  • Perform ultrasounds (USG) on pregnant women to monitor fetal health and development accurately.
  • Provide antenatal and postnatal care, including regular patient examinations, monitoring, and health education.
  • Offer counseling and emotional support to expectant and new mothers regarding pregnancy, childbirth, and newborn care.
  • Maintain accurate patient records, documenting all clinical observations, procedures, and outcomes thoroughly.
  • Adhere to infection control protocols and ensure a clean and safe clinical environment at all times.
  • Collaborate with healthcare staff to facilitate referrals and follow-ups as necessary for complicated cases.
  • Identify high-risk pregnancies and respond promptly by coordinating with relevant medical professionals.
  • Participate in community health initiatives to promote maternal and child health awareness.
  • Ensure compliance with clinic policies, ethical standards, and healthcare regulations.
