We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Officer to join our company. The ideal candidate will have 2 to 3 years of experience in the same field, specifically in distributor and reseller communication and contract making. The primary responsibility of the Business Development Officer will be to establish and maintain relationships with distributors, identify new distributors, and contribute to the overall growth and development of our business.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies to expand our distribution network and reach new markets.
  • Identify potential distributors and resellers through market research and networking.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with distributors, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Negotiate and finalize contracts with distributors, ensuring terms and conditions are favourable to our company.
  • Monitor and evaluate distributor performance, providing support and guidance as needed.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement promotional activities and campaigns targeting distributors and resellers.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
  • Prepare reports and presentations on business development activities, including sales forecasts, market analysis, and competitor analysis.
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network with potential distributors and stay informed about industry developments.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field.
  • 2 to 3 years of experience in business development, preferably in distributor and reseller management.
  • Proven track record of successfully establishing and maintaining relationships with distributors and achieving sales targets.
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders.
  • Analytical mind-set with the ability to interpret market data and identify trends and opportunities.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented.
