Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide detailed information about menu items, offering food pairing suggestions when appropriate.
- Take and process customer orders accurately using point of sale (POS) software to ensure order efficiency.
- Handle cash and card transactions precisely, ensuring all transactions are recorded and balanced at the end of shifts.
- Supervise and manage a team of 15 restaurant staff, fostering a cooperative and motivated work environment.
- Ensure the cleanliness and presentation of dining areas to maintain high standards of hygiene and ambiance.
- Collaborate closely with kitchen and bar staff to coordinate timely order preparation and delivery.
- Respond promptly and effectively to customer inquiries, requests, and feedback to enhance overall guest satisfaction.
- Monitor inventory of service supplies and report restocking needs to management.
- Train new staff on restaurant procedures, POS operations, and customer service protocols.
- Assist in scheduling staff shifts to optimize coverage during peak and off-peak hours.
- Implement company policies and procedures relating to health and safety standards.
- Maintain a calm and professional demeanor during busy periods to support team effectiveness.
- Contribute to regular team meetings and provide insights for service improvement initiatives.
- Perform opening and closing duties, including cash reconciliation and securing of the premises.
