An Account Officer is responsible for the day to day financial transactions of the company. This position requires keen attention to detail and customer service skills. - Look for inefficiencies and improvement opportunities in the budget, and make recommendations to management
- Handle accounts payable and receivable
- Maintain records of business costs, such as labor and material
- Check invoices for inaccuracies
- Reconcile accounts with the general ledger
- Handle general account queries
- Contact clients about invoices that are past due
- Familiarity with general software, such as Microsoft Office suite
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Excel and QuickBooks
- Comfort collaborating with a team
