We are seeking a full-time remote Accountant to provide bookkeeping and month-end support for small and medium-sized clients. The ideal candidate will have 1 to 2 years of relevant experience and be comfortable working with accounting software such as Tally, QuickBooks, or similar platforms. This role involves managing various accounting tasks including bank reconciliations, invoicing, accounts receivable and payable, as well as basic payroll data entry. The position reports directly to the Senior Accountant and offers a salary range of 30,000 to 50,000 PKR. Although the work is remote, location support is provided from the Multan office.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate bookkeeping records for multiple clients.
- Perform month-end closing activities and assist in financial reporting.
- Conduct bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial data.
- Manage invoicing processes and track accounts receivable and payable.
- Enter basic payroll data and support payroll processing as needed.
- Collaborate with the Senior Accountant to ensure timely completion of accounting tasks.
- Utilize accounting software efficiently to streamline daily operations.
Required Qualifications
- 1 to 2 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping roles.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally, QuickBooks, or similar tools.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Experience with bank reconciliations, invoicing, and managing accounts receivable/payable.
- Basic knowledge of payroll data entry processes.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining communication with the team.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Prior experience supporting small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) is advantageous.
- Familiarity with remote work tools and practices.
- Salary range between 30,000 and 50,000 PKR, commensurate with experience.
